Police investigate 'ram raid' at Trago Mills in Liskeard

Police are investigating a reported 'ram raid' at Trago Mills in Liskeard.

Officers say a car was driven at the main entrance of the store early on Tuesday morning.

Charity collection boxes are thought to have been swiped from the scene.

It caused damage to both the vehicle and the shop at around 5.45am.

The car was later found near the town centre and seized - and enquiries are still ongoing.

"Police were called at 5.45am today to Trago Mills, Liskeard, following reports of an ram raid in Liskeard.

"It was reported that a car had forced entry to the main entrance doors causing damage to the car and the building.

"A number of charity collection boxes are believed to have been taken.

"The vehicle was later located near Liskeard town centre and has been seized by officers. 

"Enquires remain ongoing into this incident."
