Treliske's A&E department faces high demand

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 4:06pm 24th September 2019.

People in Cornwall are being urged to choose the right service as Treliske faces high demand.

The Royal Cornwall Hospital is facing a really busy day in the A&E department.

Patients across the Duchy are being urged to call 111, which is available 24 hours a day, and to visit MIUs unless it is a real emergency.

You can check the latest waiting times for A&E here or scroll down to check where else you can go for treatment.

"Our Emergency Department is having a really busy day.

"If it's not urgent call 111 for advice. Don't forget the Minor Injury Units across the county.

"See website for opening and up-to-the minute waiting times."
