Warning to drivers about flooding near Camborne

A warning has gone out to drivers about flooding on a road near Camborne.

A burst water main has caused it in the Trevoole area and around 20 homes are without water.

South West Water says it happened on the B3303 near the Shire Inn at Pendarves Mills.

Staff on the scene and trying to fix the problem and drivers are being urged to avoid the area 

Inrix Traffic and Travel is reporting that the road is just passable due to the flooding at Botetoe Road.

"A burst water main is causing temporary flooding on the B3303 near the Shire Inn at Pendarves Mills, Camborne. 

"South West Water is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible. 

"Staff are on site trying to locate the burst. 

"Approximately 20 properties are without water as a result of the burst. We are keeping affected customers updated."
