Published by Sarah Yeoman at 5:55am 9th October 2019.

This was the moment a toddler was reunited with his grandparents - after getting locked inside a car on the north coast of Cornwall.

Firefighters from Wadebridge got the shout to try and help on Monday.

The child was stuck inside the vehicle in New Polzeath.

Crews managed to get into the car using specialist equipment and safely reunited him with his family.

"Wadebridge firefighters came to the rescue of this little fella today after he became locked inside a car in New Polzeath.

"Access was gained using our new vehicle entry equipment and the child was safely reunited with his grandparents."
