11-year-old boy injured in 'hit-and-run' in Camborne

Police are searching for a driver after a schoolboy on a bike was injured in a crash in Camborne.

A bicycle was caught in a collision with a car on Enys Road on Monday morning.

An 11-year-old boy suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics.

Officers say the vehicle left the scene and they are trying to trace the driver.

Anyone who saw what happened is being urged to get in touch.

"This collision was reported to us at 8.20am today [14th October].

"Car in collision with a boy on a bicycle in Enys Road, Camborne.

"The boy, aged 11, sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics.

"The vehicle involved left the scene. Police are undertaking enquiries to locate the driver."
