Three people injured after a crash on a Cornish peninsula

Three people have been hurt after a crash on the Lizard peninsula.

A car and double decker bus were caught in the collision on Ebenezer Road in Ruan Minor.

No details have been released on the extent of the casualties' injuries.

However police, paramedics and firefighters from three towns were scrambled at around 2.20pm on Monday.

"Two appliances from Mullion and Helston, the rescue tender from Tolvaddon, a co-responder vehicle from Mullion and two flexi-duty officers responded to a road traffic collision involving a car and a double decker bus.

"Crews made the scene safe and assisted the ambulance and police with three casualties".
