Police release update after double-decker bus crash

Police have released an update after a bus crash on the Lizard peninsula.

A double-decker was in a collision with a car in Ruan Minor on Monday afternoon.

A woman was rushed to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-changing.

Paramedics, officers and firefighters were also called to the scene.

"Police were called to Ruan Minor, Helston, at around 2.20pm on Monday 14th October with reports of a collision between a car and a bus. 

"Ambulance and fire services also attended the scene. 

"The female driver of the car was taken to hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening."
