Police appeal after assault at club in Newquay

Police have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to after a serious assault at a nightclub in Newquay.

Officers say another man was punched several times after a row with the partner of a woman he was dancing with.

The 22-year-old suffered a serious cut to his ear after the incident at Dead Famous.

Devon and Cornwall Police want to identify the man pictured in connection with the early-hours assault back in September.

"Police are appealing for the public's help to identify this man in connection with a serious assault in a Newquay nightclub.

"A man was dancing with a woman at Dead Famous nightclub when he became involved in an argument with the woman's partner.

"He was then punched a number of times around the head by the male partner. 

"The 22-year-old man from Newquay sustained a serious cut to his ear.

"Police are investigating the incident which happened around 3.20am on Saturday 21 September.

"They are keen to speak with the man pictured in connection with the offence and are asking anyone who recognises him to get in touch".
