Missing Falmouth man was last seen leaving Treliske

Update: Devon and Cornwall Police say Philip has now been found.

A fresh police appeal has gone out to try a find a man from Falmouth who was last seen leaving Treliske hospital.

Philip Wood was last seen on Thursday 10th October and officers have concerns for his health and welfare.

Accommodation providers are being asked to check their registers for the 62-year-old.

Anyone who sees Philip or knows where he might be is asked to call 999 straight away.

"Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 62-year-old man from Falmouth.

"Philip Wood, was last seen leaving Treliske hospital shortly after 10pm on Thursday 10th October.

"Philip is described as a white man, around 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build. He is also described as having a ruddy complexion, with short grey hair, a full grey beard. He has a northern accent.

"He was last seen wearing a blue waterproof coat or a grey and black chequered jacket, a grey shirt and blue jeans.

"Police are concerned for Philip’s health and welfare and are keen to locate him as soon as possible.

"Enquiries remain on going at this time."

Anyone who sees Philip or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 546 14th October.
