Urgent 999 appeal to find missing man in Cornwall

UPDATE: Police have confirmed Paul Jarvis has been found.

Police searching for a missing man in Cornwall have launched an urgent appeal for clues.

Paul Jarvis's last known location was Boscastle in north Cornwall, just after 8am on Friday morning.

The 52-year-old from Cambridge is described as looking older with greying hair.

He was unshaven, wearing a dark jacket and jumper and carrying a bag that looks like a schoolbag.

Anyone who sees Paul is being urged to call 999 straight away.

"Police are concerned for Paul Jarvis, a 52 year old man from Cambridge.

"The last known location of Paul was Boscastle after 8am on Friday October 25th.

"Paul is described as white, looking older than 52, with dark,  receding hair which is beginning to go grey.

"He was unshaven and wearing a dark jacket and dark jumper.

"He was carrying a back which has been described as 'looking like a schoolbag'.

"If Paul is sighted, please contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 999 and quote log number 561 25/10/19".
