Teenage boy injured after crash in Falmouth

Police have confirmed a teenager boy is injured after a crash in Falmouth.

The young pedestrian was caught in a collision with a car on Trescobeas Road.

Officers and paramedics were scrambled just after 8.30pm on Wednesday morning.

The casualty was being treated at the scene but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"Police notified at around 8.40am to Trescobeas Road following reports of a collision between a car and a teenage boy.

"The boy was injured, but not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"He is with the ambulance".

Drivers are being warned to expect slow traffic in the area, between Union Road and Mayfield Road.

"Slow traffic due to accident on Trescobeas Road in both directions between Union Road and Mayfield Road".
