Tanker lorry gets stuck on slipway in Cornwall

This is the moment a tanker lorry got stuck on a ferry slipway in Cornwall.

Photos show part of the front end of the cab in the water in the River Fowey.

It is believed the vehicle ended up stranded after breaking down.

The Bodinnick Ferry, which runs from the village of Bodinnick to Fowey, had to be suspended.

The ferry was back up and running and the lorry had moved, as of around 8.30am on Wednesday.

The incident was among several causing problems on Cornwall's roads first thing.

Flash flooding closed Swanpool Road in Falmouth, after strong winds whipped up huge waves overnight.

Trains between Liskeard and Looe were suspended, due to flooding on the branch line.
