TV adventurer celebrates birthday in Cornwall

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 8:05am 4th November 2019.

How does a TV adventurer celebrate his 46th birthday? With a freezing cold sea swim in Cornwall of course!

Ben Fogle and his wife Marina took the plunge at St Mawes on Friday, during a family holiday in the Duchy.

He shared the photos on social media, with fans branding it 'hardcore', 'brave' and even 'plain crazy'.

The couple, who are taking a break with their children, managed a smile, despite the freezing temperatures!

Err Ben, you appear to be missing a wetsuit!

"And this is why I married Marina......November 1st swim in Cornwall #coldnotcold #abitcold #freezingcold".

Hard as nails - hats off to both of them!
