Man injured after crash on a main road to Newquay

A man has been injured after a crash on one of the main roads to Newquay.

Firefighters say a car had rolled on the A3075 at Goonhavern.

Crews were scrambled to reports of one person trapped on Tuesday night.

They later confirmed everyone was out but one casualty was treated by paramedics.

"One appliance from Perranporth Fire Station the rescue tender from Tolvaddon Fire Station and a flexi-duty officer were mobilised to reports of a vehicle that had rolled with one person trapped inside.

"On arrival of the first appliance, it was found that it involved one vehicle with no persons trapped. 

"The crew administered first aid to one male casualty until the arrival of the ambulance. 

"They made the scene and vehicle safe and assisted with traffic management until the arrival of the police".
