A broken down tanker has caused traffic chaos on Cornwall's A30.

It was stuck on the eastbound stretch between Innis Downs and Bodmin first thing on Friday morning.

Highways England have since confirmed that the tanker has been moved and traffic is clearing.

"Queueing traffic due to the earlier broken down tanker on the A30 eastbound between the A391 (Innis Downs junction, Lanivet) and the A38 (Carminow Cross, Bodmin).

"Congestion to the Victoria turn-off. In the roadworks area.

"The fuel tanker has now been moved after breaking down in the contraflow section earlier, blocking the road.

"Traffic also remains slow on the westbound side".
