Woman injured after crash on A39 in Cornwall

Police have confirmed a woman has suffered a possible neck injury after a crash on Cornwall's A39.

Firefighters have had to cut the roof of a car near Kilkhampton, after reports of a three-vehicle collision.

The emergency services were scrambled just after 9am on Friday morning.

The casualty's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"The call to police came through shortly after 9am, to reports of a three-vehicle collision.

"Emergency services attended and fire had to remove the roof of one vehicle where the occupant is believed to have sustained a possible neck injury. 

"Her injuries are not being treated as life-threatening or changing. 

"Currently awaiting recovery for all three vehicles".

Devon and Cornwall Police

The road was blocked between the junctions for the B3254 and Ivyleaf Hill, but the incident has now cleared.
