A list of all the earthquakes across the UK in the last 50 days includes one in Cornwall.

A 0.9 tremor was recorded off the north coast on Thursday the 24th October.

According to the British Geological Survey, it happened near Portreath: Read the list.

However, there have been no reports of anyone living in the area having felt any rumbles.

It follows a quake a few miles west of Falmouth over the summer, felt from the Lizard to St Austell!

In August, The British Geological Survey tweeted to say tremors like this are rare in the UK, but do happen.

"A small number of reports have been received from the immediate area by members of the public.

"One described 'Loud bang from beneath (I was sat on sofa). Windows shook'.

"There are approximately 15 events of this size or greater annually in the UK, globally approx 700 per day.

"If you felt this evening's 2.2M event in Cornwall it would really help our seismologists if you could fill in our felt questionnaire as it gives us really important information about the event!"
