No Coca Cola Christmas truck visit for Cornwall

No Coca Cola Christmas truck visit for Cornwall

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 6:07pm 12th November 2019.

Holidays are coming, holidays are coming... but not to Cornwall.

Dates have been announced for the iconic Coca Cola Christmas truck tour around the UK.

The big red festive vehicle paid a visit to Looe back in 2014 in its first ever trip to the Duchy.

Since then it has also visited Newquay, along with Tavistock and Exeter.

But for 2019 the nearest location to Cornwall that will get a visit is Taunton.

"Visit the truck in a glittering winter wonderland setting and enjoy festive photo moments – and a 150ml Coca-Cola zero sugar to help you get in the Christmas spirit. Not only that, when the Christmas Truck stops at Asda and Sainsbury’s stores, you’ll be able to visit the truck and buy a pack of 250ml glass bottles of Coca-Cola personalised with your name.

"This year, to raise funds and awareness for the great work done by Crisis – which is now in its 52nd year – we’re pledging to donate 10p in exchange for every can placed in our recycling bins throughout the truck tour.

"So, when you visit your nearest stop and dispose of your can the right way, you’re helping two amazing causes: supporting homeless people across the UK and The Coca-Cola Company’s global World Without Waste pledge – to collect and recycle a bottle or can for every one we sell by the year 2030."
