Cornish village moves to Devon in weather map blunder

Cornish village moves to Devon in weather map blunder

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 1:27pm 13th November 2019.

It appears that the bad weather may have washed a Cornish village all the way to Devon.

During a weather forecast on the BBC on Tuesday night, Feock appeared in a rather odd place on the south west map.

The coastal village, not far from Truro and situated on the River Fal, was marked as being well over the Tamar.

The blunder sparked a string of comments on social media.

One person wrote: "Feock is where on the weather map????"

Another said: "Did the BBC put Feock in the wrong place on the weather map?"

And Feock Parish Council posted: "Come back Feock!"

We've been to check and luckily Feock is still where it should be, even though it is still raining, phew!
