Car catches fire in middle of the night in Cornwall

A car has caught alight in the middle of the night in Cornwall.

This was the scene after the vehicle was burnt out in Fraddon.

Firefighters from St Dennis were called to the scene just after 2am on Sunday morning.

They used hose reel jets to put the blaze out and believe the cause was accidental.

"One appliance from St Dennis Community Fire Station responded to reports of a vehicle fire.

"On arrival a car fire was discovered. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

"This incident has been classed as accidental."
