Car hits central reservation on A30 at Scorrier

A car has hit the central reservation on the A30 in west Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to Scorrier just before 2pm on Thursday afternoon.

The driver has been taken to hospital to be checked over but it is not known if they are injured.

The crash caused tailbacks westbound back to Blackwater and the road was blocked.

Police have confirmed it was all reopened by 3pm.


"A car collided with the central reservation at 1.55pm. 

"The driver has been taken to hospital to be checked over. The road was reopened by 3pm."

Inrix Traffic and Travel was reporting: "Queueing traffic due to earlier accident on A30 Westbound at A3047 (Scorrier). 

"Congestion to Blackwater. All lanes have been re-opened."
