Road closed after car fire on back lane in Bodmin

This is the scene of a car fire that closed a back road in Bodmin.

The blaze broke out on Kirland Road first thing on Friday morning.

Police and firefighters were scrambled at the start of the morning rush-hour.

The road was closed for several hours to allow the vehicle to be recovered, but has since reopened.

"Kirland Road in both directions re-opened, earlier car fire between Crabtree Lane and Blowinghouse Lane.

"Police no longer on scene, no recent updates".
