Fears Boots store in Camborne could close down

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 5:36pm 29th November 2019.

It is feared that a Boots store in Camborne could close down.

Bosses have confirmed that they are currently reviewing the shop on Trelowarren Street.

No plans have been confirmed yet but the company says there are 'challenging market conditions'.

Boots has told Pirate FM that staff in Camborne have been told about the situation.

A spokesperson said if the store does close, all colleagues will be offered jobs at nearby Boots stores where possible.

"We can confirm we're currently reviewing our store on Trelowarren Street in Camborne, but no plans have been confirmed yet.

"As a business with a large estate, we continually review our store locations to make sure they are where our customers need us most, particularly in light of the challenging market conditions in the UK."
