The man behind an amazing Christmas lights display in Cornwall makes an appeal for donations.

Daniel Greenaway has been working on the display, that is raising money for Bodmin Lions, since October.

There is even a special grotto where children can visit Santa and send their wish lists to the North Pole!

Last year, the St Piran Close lights appeal raised around £850 for Bodmin Lions and is hoping to better that in 2019.

The display is so popular with local children, it even has its own Facebook page with more than 100 followers.

"Each year we create a display of Christmas lights and a Santa's grotto for kids to come see Santa all for charity.

"It takes around 10 weeks to do everything ready for the big switch on the 24th November.

"All donations go to the Bodmin Lions".
