Cyclist taken to hospital after crash near Redruth

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash near Redruth.

A bike and car were involved in a collision at Four Lanes on Wednesday morning.

Police were called at around 10.50am to the B3297 and the road was closed for around 90 minutes.

The cyclist suffered injuries but officers say they are not believed to be life-changing.

"Police were called at 10:50am to reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a car on the B3297 at Four Lanes, Redruth.

"The cyclist has been taken to Treliske Hospital with injuries but there are not reported as life changing or life threatening.

"The road was reopened at 12:35pm."
