Two-vehicle crash blocks the A38 in Cornwall

The A38 in south east Cornwall has been left blocked in both directions after a two-vehicle crash.

As of 6pm on Wednesday evening, traffic was said to be queuing at Tideford.

Police were called to the scene at 4.30pm after the collision happened westbound.

One person is reportedly hurt but officers say the injuries are not life-changing.

"A two-car collision was reported west bound on the A38 at Tideford at 4.30pm. The inside lane is currently blocked. 

"One person is reportedly injured but not believed to be life threatening or life changing. "

The traffic has been affecting anyone travelling between Liskeard and Saltash.

"A38 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved from Church Road to Kilna Lane.

"Affecting traffic between Saltash and Liskeard."
