Van fire breaks out on side of A30

A van fire has broken out on the side of the A30 in Cornwall.

Firefighters were called to the scene westbound at Summercourt.

Crews from St Dennis and Newquay worked to put the flames out on Wednesday evening.

Drivers were warned to expect delays but it has how been confirmed that the blaze is out.

"The van fire on #A30 westbound at #Summercourt has been extinguished.

"The van and fire appliances have been moved off the carriageway and both lanes are running freely. #DriveSafe"
