Urgent appeal to find dog missing after crash

The owner of a dog that went missing after a crash in north Cornwall has issued a desperate appeal to find her pet.

Little Tilly the dachshund ran from the scene after Kate Heywood was caught in a collision on Bodmin Moor.

It happened in the Blisland/Waterloo area on Monday morning but despite a couple of sightings, Tilly is still missing.

Kate and Bodmin Police have posted the appeals on social media, which have since had thousands of shares.

Tilly was spotted in Blisland village on Monday lunchtime then again in the evening, towards Carwen before the chapel.

"She couldn't have gone far as she's just not that sort of little person unless someone has managed to scoop her up

"I am a vet nurse and all my old colleagues and local practices have been informed

"Friends please share. She is very timid as she's very much a house/lap pet bless her".

Tilly is described as a pet who is nervous around strangers and the family are desperate to get her back.
