Man suffers serious injuries after A38 crash

A man has suffered serious head injuries after a crash on the A38.

A van and a car hit at Manadon, heading towards the Tamar Bridge.

The casualty and two other people were rushed to Derriford on Sunday night.

Anyone who saw something just before 11pm is being urged to come forward.

"At approximately 10.45pm on Sunday 15th December 2019, a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A38 westbound carriageway at the Manadon off-slip. 

"A white Renault Traffic van was in collision with a blue Peugeot 109.

"One of the male occupants of the Peugeot was conveyed to Derriford Hospital with serious head injuries. 

"The passenger of the Peugeot and the driver of the van were also taken to hospital as a result of their injuries.

"Any witnesses to the collision or who had seen the vehicles on the off-slip prior to the collision are asked to contact the police by calling 101, quoting log 922 of 15th December".
