Crashes cause rush hour problems in Hayle and Falmouth

Two rush hour crashes have been causing problem for the drive home across Cornwall.

Four vehicles have been involved in a collision on the A30 at Hayle.

There were reports of traffic congestion from Loggans Moor roundabout all the way back to Camborne West.

Police have confirmed that nobody has been injured.

"A30 Westbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident, four vehicles involved at B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout). Congestion to Camborne West."

Elsewhere a smoking car has been causing issues in Falmouth.

Police say no one was inside the car when they arrived on the scene but there is no word on injuries yet.

An off-duty paramedic was passing by and rushed to help at the scene on Union Road.

Firefighters and ambulance crews were also called to the area near roundabout.

Earlier on Tuesday a three-vehicle crash caused problems on the A30 near Truro.

The road was closed eastbound and it was affecting traffic heading up from Chiverton Cross.
