WATCH: How you can track Santa with your children

Published by Emma Carton at 1:43pm 24th December 2019.

Santa Claus is coming to town and this is how you can track the big man in red with your children!

There are several ways you can find out where Father Christmas is right now and when he will be over Cornwall.

Arguably the most famous is the NORAD Santa tracker; The North American Aerospace Defense Command to use its full name.

Its command centre is live now...

NORAD has been keeping tabs on the main man in red's big journey for over 60 years.

The team say he took off at 9.30am our time...

Santa's first stop after leaving the North Pole was Russia and by 1.30pm British time, he had already visited the South Pacific Islands and New Guinea.

So, how does NORAD track Santa? Take a look...

You can even give the team at NORAD a call to check Santa's progress...

You can follow his progress with NORAD here or you can also track Santa on Christmas Eve by using Alexa.

Just ask your Amazon Echo and other Alexa-enabled devices questions like 'Alexa, ask NORAD Tracks Santa, where's Santa?'

And not forgetting Google's Santa Tracker website and app, which is also following Santa's journey on December the 24th.

Whichever way you choose, Santa is sure to pay a visit: Merry Christmas folks!
