Teenager dies after a cyclist and van collide in Cornwall

A teenager has died after a cyclist and van hit near Truro on Saturday.

Emergency services rushed to Tubbon Hill near Stithians at around 1.45pm but sadly couldn't save them.

Police say the local teenager died at the scene as a result of their injuries.

The road was closed while investigators carried out a forensic examination.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage are being urged to contact police quoting incident number 391.
