A toddler has been rescued in Cornwall after getting their head stuck in a toilet seat.

Firefighters got the shout to the Saltash area to help just after 1pm on Thursday lunchtime.

They used small tools and 'a bit or force' to snap the seat in half and release the two-year-old.

They posted the incident on Facebook along with the hashtag #notjustfires

"One crew were mobilised to a report of a two-year-old with their head stuck in a toilet seat.

"Small tools were used and a bit of force to snap the seat in half."
