Appeal after woman is assaulted in pub toilets

A police appeal has gone out after a woman was assaulted in the toilets of a pub in Torpoint.

Officers say she was injured after reportedly being assaulted by another woman.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday 1st December but the details have only just been released.

Torpoint Police are investigating what happened at Wheelers and have shared an appeal on Facebook.

Anyone with information about what happened on Fore Street is being asked to come forward.

"Police are currently investigating reports of an assault of a woman at a pub on Fore Street in Torpoint in the early hours of Sunday 1st December.

"Officers received reports that a woman was assaulted by another woman causing injury.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing."
