Three arrests after '30-mile' police chase in Cornwall

Three people have been arrested after a car chase through Cornwall, spanning 30 miles.

Pirate FM understands it started in Summercourt late on Saturday night, after a vehicle failed to stop.

The Toyota was later spotted going the wrong way round a roundabout on the A38.

The pursuit ended when a marked car collided into its side at Trerulefoot.

The police No Excuse Team also tweeted about the incident, praising the response of the armed vehicle response.

"This Toyota then made off from us around Summercourt. 

"Sighted again later when it failed to stop driving the wrong way around Trerulefoot Roundabout. 

"Swift action by Alliance ARV (Armed Response Vehicle) ended the pursuit.

"Three in custody from the vehicle for various offences".
