Colleagues' urgent appeal to find missing Bude man

Colleagues of a missing man from Cornwall have issued an urgent appeal to try and find him.

Ricky Gamage, who is in his early twenties, was last seen leaving work at The Venue in Bude on Saturday 28th December.

Police say they are growing 'increasingly concerned' for his safety.

Now HBH Woolacotts has shared an appeal saying they are worried about Ricky.

Pirate FM understand that Ricky's phone has been found on a beach.

Anyone who sees him is being urged to call police on 999 straight away.

"We'd like to ask you all to keep an eye out for one of our colleagues, Ricky, who has been missing from Bude since 28th December. 

"His family, friends and colleagues are all worried about him and would just like to know that he's safe. 

"If you see him, then please let the police know by dialling 999 and quoting log number 897 of 28/12/19. Thank you."

Ricky was wearing a beanie hat with a logo, a khaki green hooded jacked, black skinny jeans and black DMs.

It is believed he could be travelling, after several unconfirmed sightings at junctions on the M5 and M6.

"Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 23-year-old Ricky Gamage, who has been reported missing from Bude in North Cornwall.

"Ricky was last seen leaving The Venue in the town at around 8.35pm on Saturday 28th December.  

"He was wearing a blue beanie hat with an unknown logo, a khaki green North Face hooded jacket, a grey 'Venue' logo t-shirt, black skinny jeans which had a tear on the left thigh, and black Dr Martin boots. 

"Ricky is described as 6ft 2in tall with dark hair, a dark-coloured goatee beard, green eyes and a tattoo sleeve down his right arm.   

"There have been a number of unconfirmed potential sightings of him in Barnstaple, on the M5 at Burnham on Sea, the M5 at Taunton and on the M6 at Junction 11. 

"If you have seen Ricky, or know of his whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 897 of 28/12/19".
