100 sheep stolen from farm in Cornwall

100 sheep have been stolen from a farm in south east Cornwall.

Police say the flock was taken in the Trerulefoot area, near Saltash, between the 2nd and 6th of January.

Locals are being urged to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.

Officers are also remind people to ensure appropriate security is in place.

"Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the theft of 100 sheep from farmland in the Trerulefoot area of East Cornwall between Thursday the 2nd and Monday the 6th of January.

"The rural crime team would advise all to ensure that the appropriate security is present and remain vigilant for suspicious activity."
