Anti-social behaviour warning in Cornish village

Anti-social behaviour warning in Cornish village

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 3:09pm 16th January 2020. (Updated at 5:37pm 16th January 2020)

A warning has gone out about a rise in anti-social behaviour in a Cornish village.

Police say residents are being affected in Roche but there has been a lack of reporting.

Anyone who sees any incidents is being urged to come forward.

Officers say they are 'robust' in issuing warnings to those involved and work closely with other officials to tackle the problem.

"Police have been informed of a rise in anti-social behaviour in the area of Roche.

"Whilst we are now aware of some issues that residents may be experiencing, we have also noticed a lack of reporting to police.

"Without the reports we are unable to respond appropriately to these incidents.

"We work very closely with Cornwall Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team to combat Anti-Social Behaviour and are robust in issuing Anti-Social Behaviour Warnings."
