Police search for wanted man from Newquay

UPDATE: Shaun Curwood has now been located.

Police are searching for a wanted man from Newquay.

Shaun Curwood is wanted for breaching the conditions of his prison licence.

The 37-year-old, who also has links to St Austell, was originally jailed last year for driving whilst disqualified.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he might be is asked to contact officers.

"Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a 37-year-old man from Newquay who is wanted for breaching the conditions of his prison licence.

"Curwood was originally jailed in 2019 for driving whilst disqualified.

"Police enquiries are ongoing to locate and arrest him.

"Curwood is described as a white male, of average build and has short brown hair and facial hair. He is originally from Nottingham and speaks with a Midlands accent. He also has links to St Austell.

"Officers are keen to hear from anyone who sees Curwood or knows of his whereabouts."
