New page launched to find stolen puppy from Cornwall

The owner of a stolen puppy from Cornwall has put away his basket and toys because seeing them “hurts too much”, but says they will never give up hope.

Waffle was reportedly snatched at knifepoint ahead of his morning walk in St Austell.

The incident happened just weeks before Christmas.

Appeals to try to find the Labradoodle have been shared thousands of times, as police investigate.

Now his heartbroken family have launched a new Twitter page, in a bid to help generate fresh leads.

In a recent post to the Bring Waffle Home Facebook page Catherine Hussain’s daughter, Ayesha Louise, described whoever did this as 'scum'.

At the beginning of February, Ayesha also shared Cath's emotional message about never giving up hope.

Cath posted: "So today I put your beds away Waffle, along with your bowls, toys and your favourite teddy.

"Not because I'm giving up. Not because I don't think you're coming home one day. Not because I've stopped loving you. But because it hurts so much, seeing your things every day.

"I won't give up on you. You're coming home soon I hope. So, for now, your things are safely put away until you're home where you belong.

"We all love and miss you terribly Waffle".

A fundraising page, set up to raise money for a reward to help find Waffle, has received donations to the tune of over £1500.

"Please help us find Waffle by donating any amount big or small to enable us to find him and bring him home safely.

"Every donation would be received with so much appreciation for your support, shares and messages we have received from each and every one of you.

"All monies received will help build a reward for any information resulting on the return of Waffle safely.

"We as a family are so grateful to have so many kind and loving people behind us.

"Please donate, please share and help us bring our lovely boy Waffle home safely".
