SAS: Who Dares Wins recruit from Cornwall in final

The Cornish recruit through to the final of SAS: Who Dares Wins tells Pirate FM watching the trailer gives her goosebumps.

Elouise Gregor is in the final seven on the SAS selection process recreation show.

The 26-year-old, who is a solicitor from Redruth, has been put through her paces and is now hoping to be crowned the winner.

She regularly does crossfit which she says prepared her well physically for the show, but the mental aspect was even tougher.

Watch what happened when Elouise took on Neil from the Pirate FM Breakfast Show...

"I am really proud actually because the people who go in there are the fittest people in the UK, they pick them for that reason, so to have come further than some of them is really something.

"The physical side is quite similar to a crossfit session so that prepared me well but you can't prepare for the mental side of it, I read all the books but you don't know until you get there, not knowing what is coming next, or when you get to eat next or sleep."

Elouise and her sister Bethany were both initially selected for the show but Beth was eliminated several weeks ago.

"It did hit me hard when my sister had gone, but I look out for her quite a lot and when she left I didn't have to look out for her anymore, so it was more just focusing on myself, although I was sad she left it was definitely a little bit easier and focusing on my own performance.

"She is doing really well and has had a lot of positive feedback from it, she's really proud of how far she got and I know she could have gone a lot further, and I think she knows that in her head too, so the support has been really nice."
