Urgent 999 appeal to find missing man from Cornwall

UPDATE: Christopher has now been found.

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a young man missing in Cornwall.

Christopher Maynard was reported missing from the Par area on Thursday evening.

The 29-year-old, who is described as muscly with dark hair shaved at the sides, has a tattoo on his left arm.

Officers said fears were growing for his safety and they were urging anyone who saw him to call 999 straight away.

At the time, they said: "Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 29-year-old man from the Par area.

"Christopher Maynard, was reported missing yesterday evening [13 February].

"Police are continuing to carry out enquires to locate Christopher.

"Christopher is described as white 5ft 10” in height, of muscular build with dark brown hair that is shaved to back and sides and short on top, combed over, has tattoo on left arm.

"Anyone who sees Christopher or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 997 13/02/20".
