Storm Dennis has triggered a 'rock fall' at a beach in Newquay.

Photos on social media show part of the cliff face has crumbled down at Great Western.

It has been reported to officials so the damage can be investigated.

People are being urged to avoid the area as strong winds and heavy rain continue to batter the Duchy.

It comes as the Met Office has issued a double weather warning for the Duchy over the weekend, for gales and torrential rain.

Forecasters say the wild weather could also cause travel trouble, power problems and big waves.

A string of flood alert and 'immediate action' flood warnings are also in force for rivers across Cornwall.
