Valentine's Day drugs bust near Redruth

It has been revealed that police carried out a Valentine's Day drugs bust near Redruth.

Officers carried out a warrant at a property in The Square, Lanner, on Friday afternoon.

A 'large cannabis grow' was found and a number of plants were seized.

Three teenagers were arrested at the scene and have been bailed until next month.

"Police executed a warranted under the Misuse of Drugs Act (MUDA) at a property in The Square in Redruth on the afternoon of Friday 14th February.

"Police located a large cannabis grow within the property and subsequently seized a substantial number of cannabis plants.

"Three teenage males were arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis; all have since been released on police bail until 13th March.

"Police enquiries continue into this matter."
