Urgent 999 appeal to find missing teenager in Newquay

An urgent 999 appeal has gone out to find a missing person from Newquay.

Police say Vanle Nguyen speaks no English and doesn't know the area.

He was last seen on the Mountjoy area of the town in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Anyone who sees Vanle is being urged to call officers straight away.

"Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing person from Newquay.

"Vanle Nguyen, thought to be a teenager, was reported missing from the Mountjoy area of Newquay during the early hours of 16th February 2020.

"Vanle is described as 5’2” tall, of slim build with short black hair. He was believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers.

"Vanle speaks no English and is unfamiliar with the area."

Devon and Cornwall Police

Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999 quoting 264 16/02/20.
