Comedian Jethro due to take final bow

A well-known Cornish comedian has said it's time to hang up the mic after 50 years in the business. 

'Jethro' made the announcement on his Facebook page saying it was a 'hard decision' and thanks everyone for coming to see him over the last five decades. 

In a statement on the social media site, he said:

Jethro

So I think it’s time to hang up my Mic, It’s been a hard decision, But my memory has made it easier for me.


I will honour all my dates booked in, but as of the end of December I will no longer be working my theatre tours.


I great big thank you to everyone that has come to see me over the last 50 years, I’m sure I enjoyed you’re company more than you enjoyed mine

 His last performance will take place on Tuesday 15th December at Exmouth Pavillion
