Police treat death in Camborne as 'unexplained'

Police have confirmed a man has been released under investigation after the death of a woman in Camborne.

The casualty in her 40s was found at a property on Wesley Street first thing on Monday morning.

The area was cordoned off for most of the day whilst an investigation was carried out.

A 47-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Police confirm a man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's death in Camborne has been released under investigation.

On Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police described the death of the woman as unexplained.

"Police continue to investigate the unexplained death of the female found on the morning of Monday 2nd March at a residential property in Wesley Street, Camborne.  

"Enquiries with relatives advance, and it is hoped formal identification will be made in the near future.  

"The male arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation while enquiries continue".
