Car gets stuck on edge of wall in Falmouth

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 1:44pm 4th March 2020.

This was the scene after a car became stuck on the edge of a wall in Falmouth.

The vehicle was spotted in a rather precarious position in Swanpool car park on Wednesday morning.

A passerby took the photo during the school run but it is not known how the car ended up like that, or if it has been removed.

A post in the Falmouth,Penryn And Surrounding Areas Community Information Page on Facebook has sparked a string on reactions.

One person wrote: "Poor person will have to do the walk of shame to sort it out happens quite a bit on the beaches too. Remember car stuck on gylly last summer."

Another added: "Oh dear. Mind you, could be a local / local-ish person too. Accidentally hit accelerator rather than brake maybe? Or an automatic put into drive rather than reverse? Gutting whichever way, wonder what damage they have done. Balanced to perfection though!"

And another person simply posted: "What sorcery is this".
