Police investigating an attempted robbery in Looe have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to.

Officers say three 16-year-old girls were targeted in the town centre one evening last month.

A man approached them and pulled out a broken bottle from his jacket before demanding money and cannabis.

The suspect was challenged by a member of the public and then fled the scene. Luckily no one was hurt.

It happened at the junction of Lower Street and Church Street.

Now police are working to identify the man pictured as they think he may be able to help with the investigation.
