Woman airlifted to hospital after Falmouth crash

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a collision near Falmouth.

Police and paramedics were called to Mylor Bridge following reports of a collision between a car and three pedestrians at around 10.20am this morning (Tuesday 31 March). 

It is said to have taken place in the Lemon Hill area.

A woman aged in her 60's was airlifted to hospital and suffered serious leg injures which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

It is reported that there are four casualties, including the elderly male driver of the car who was was checked over by paramedics and required no further treatment.

The roads have now been reopened. 

"Mylor Bridge. Lemon Hill closed both ways, slow traffic due to accident, one vehicle involved from Rosehill to Trevellan Road."
